By completing your order, you accept the following Terms & Conditions of Sale.
Funguys Policies, Terms & Conditions:
Funguys reserves the right to change these policies at any time.
Limitation of Use:
Your Funguys Gourmet cc. mushroom culture(s) is conditionally delivered subject to your agreement to comply with the following limitation of culture(s) use:
You may not sell, transfer, market or assign Funguys Gourmet cc. spawn or cultures – or any spawn or cultures subsequently derived therefrom – in any way, shape or form without our written consent.
You may not represent these cultures as being connected with Funguys Gourmet cc. without our written consent.
You may only use these cultures for fresh and dried fruit body products, and for your personal use to grow spawn for fresh and dried fruit body products.
Out of Stock Policy:
Periodically, an item you ordered may be out of stock. If we find out that an item is out of stock at the time we are filling the order, we will call or email you for permission to substitute a similar variety. You will also have the opportunity to put your entire order on hold until we have received more stock. We will only consider doing “part-shipments” if a second shipping fee is paid.
In the event of further stock unavailability due to crop failure or other unavoidable cause, we will advise so that you may either re-order, cancel part of, or cancel your entire order and have any advance payment refunded.
We are a home based business and very often we find ourselves getting our hands dirty in our mushroom grow facility or laboratory at odd times during the day. We therefore prefer to communicate via email. If you need to reach us, please email us using the contact form or the email link on our Contact page.
Growing and harvesting instructions can be found on some of the individual products or attached to the order, in some cases you may receive a .pdf document. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
Warranty / Guarantee:
Following custom in the trade, we give no warranty, express or implied, as to the viability or description of the mushroom culture, nor can we be responsible for the resulting mushroom crop or its possible misuse. Should you have any complaint please let us know.
We ship all orders as requested by the customer upon completion of order. Most orders are successfully sent via PostNet or The Courier Guy. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments whatsoever. We are not responsible for lost orders shipped to an incorrect address. If you provided us with an incorrect address, you assume all risk.
Shipping and Handling Fees:
The shipping and handling fee is calculated automatically upon completing your order. It is based upon the shipping method. The shipping and handling fee does not just include postage, but includes the cost for packaging, labels, cost to fill the order etc. By completing the order, you accept the shipping and handling fees.
Processing and Delivery Time:
Our busiest time of the year is between September and May. Except for our busiest period, orders are generally shipped within 14 business days of receiving your payment for your order. During our busiest period however, it may take up to 20 business days to ship from the day you placed your order. The delivery time is based on the time it takes to process your order in the order it was received. Note: We do not have a delivery service on weekends and all delivery times stated are dependent on available stock.
Valid Email Address:
You must provide a valid email address when placing an order. We send a confirmation of the order, with our bank details via email. We also send progress emails to inform you of the progress of your order as well as a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once the order has been shipped. If a valid email address is not provided, you will not be able to receive these confirmations.
Valid Shipping Address:
You must provide an accurate shipping address when placing your order. We send a confirmation of your order via email. Please review the address on the email confirmation for accuracy. If a valid shipping address is not provided, and the order is shipped, the customer bears full responsibility for a lost shipment.
All sales are final and we do not accept returns for any reason.
We will not share any personal information that you provide to us. We do not make your information available to any outside source. Funguys reserves the right to communicate by way of e-mail, any news, special offers, events, and competitions to any visitor that offers his or her e-mail address to us. We will remove any e-mail address from our client database if requested, and all communication will immediately cease.
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Funguys or its content suppliers and protected by South African and international copyright laws.
Limitation of Liability:
Funguys website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No representations or warranties of any kind are made , implied or expressed, as to the operation of Funguys website or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. All information and material contained within Funguys website is strictly for informational and educational purposes only. You expressly agree that your use of the information provided on Funguys website, is at your sole risk.

SADC Customers: Funguys will endeavour to find the best shipping quote. Clients will pre-pay all cost of export and courier before the order is shipped.
